Description

High-performance Open Networking 100G spine switch

Supermicro introduces the Spectrum-2 based Open Networking 32 port 100G spine Switch SSE-SN3700C series that is designed to provide high density 10G/25G leaf as well in a compact 1U form factor. With a total of 6.4Tb/s throughput, SSE-SN3700C switch comes with dual and redundant power supplies and FANs. The included rail kit facilitates rack-mounting installations. SN3700C allows for maximum flexibility, with ports spanning from 1GbE to 100GbE and port density that enables full rack connectivity to any server at any speed, and a variety of blocking ratios. SN3700C ports are fully splitable to up to 128X 10/25GbE ports. SSE-SN3700C is ready with pre-installed Cumulus Linux OS for open networking incorporating a true Linux distribution with extensive networking features plus hardware acceleration of routing and switching functions. By using many of the same tools employed for servers, Cumulus Linux enables affordable scalability with clear CapEx savings and even greater OpEx savings; it unleashes rapid innovation via custom, open source or commercial Linux tools and applications.
